Suma’s Murphy’s Law (R.I.D)
Born: 1988
Sire: Pride of Shaunlara
Dam: Softee by Skylark
Bone: 23 cms
Height: 165cms
Colour: Grey

Murphy arrived from Ireland in Spring 2003 and stood in the UK for the first time in 2004. Murphy was broken as a four year old and has hunted regularly in Ireland. He started show jumping in the Spring of 1993 winning points and placed second in the Winter League.

His career was temporarily interrupted when he broke his near hind leg in December 1993. By the next Autumn he was pronounced 100% sound and has had no further problems. He was subsequently registered with the S.J.A.I. and as well as his competitive and hunting career he has sired more than 87 registered foals.

Since arriving in the UK Murphy continued to hunt and successfully competed in cross country, however he has since retired from competition.

Murphy is a true gentleman displaying all of the best qualities of a pure Irish Draught Horse. He is kind, gentle, affectionate and willing to please, but also full of character and spirit.

Murphy hacks out and travels with all of his mares, always behaving impeccably. He is a true professional – quite happy to change roles from stallion to competition horse in a matter of hours!

Murphy is admired wherever we take him, for his looks, manners and ability. Whether you are looking to breed a pure Irish Draught or a cross, Murphy’s outstanding qualities make him the ideal stallion for your mare. Murphy still has 100% fertility.

irish draught stallion
Oscar Wilde (G2 I.D)
Born: 2001
Sire: Cork Arthur
Dam: Merry Maiden by Banks Fee Daniel
Bone: 25 cms
Height: 165cms
Colour: Grey

Oscar is a typical old fashioned Irish Draught stallion who has big free movement and a very capable jump. He came to us in 2007 as a very green six year old and has progressively started his education and career. He has a wonderful personality, is very trainable and has natural balance. He has performed successfully at dressage to novice level so far. With 10 inches of bone and a fabulous laid back temperament, he will put substance and sanity into your mare.

Oscars first young stock were born in 2009 and have inherited his good looks, manners and temperament.

Very sadly we lost Oscar to colic on the 21st May 2011, he will be missed by many.
